There were over 150 entries across a range of categories, with the objective of the yearly Awards is to encourage, promote and recognise “Best Practice” in building and to establish benchmark projects for contractors to emulate. The ‘Blackwall’ granny flat was the winning entry, with the judges saying: *“The building demonstrates the high level of features that can be achieved in a granny flat development, as well as demonstrating the potential to integrate attractive outdoor living spaces with this type of home.
