Backyard Grannys finalists in 2015 Lake Mac awards

This year we entered two categories – Excellence in Branding and Marketing and Excellence in Customer Service by an Individual.

We believe that our success can be attributed to a number of factors, two of which are our wonderful staff and our innovative approach to our brand.

When we read the criteria for the customer service award, Annette Robards immediately came to mind. She has a vital role in customer service delivery and we believe she is a stellar example of someone who goes above and beyond.

Annette makes each client feel like they are her highest priority. Whilst this may seem straightforward, due to the rapid increase of clients that Backyard Grannys has experienced, the workload Annette carries has increased substantially over the last two years. Despite this, Annette has continued to make our clients feel important and valued.

In terms of our marketing we are proud of the brand we have built, from our ‘Granny’ mascot, through to the wide range of innovative tools we use to position as business in the marketplace. We have a commitment to high quality projects and delivering on what we promise.

In 2014 we were delighted when Director Alex Mitchell won the Entrepreneur of the Year Award and this year we will be keeping our fingers crossed that we are recognised again!
