Our in-house architectural designers have created a new range of luxury and contemporary granny flat designs that challenge the traditional concept of the granny flat. By incorporating the key elements of open-plan living including raked ceilings and highlight windows, the designs have a genuine sense of space as found in today’s modern standard sized homes.

The Silverdale is a contemporary designer granny flat featuring a raked ceiling and highlight windows in the main living area and a striking double skillion roof. The internal footprint covers a full 60m² with a spacious open plan living, dining and kitchen complimented by two ample bedrooms and a fully-equipped bathroom. The option of adding front and rear patios provides the scope to create seamless indoor/outdoor flow.

Our Seaforth granny flat is an architecturally designed one bedroom granny flat with a floor space between 36-60m². Its modern design is a perfect partner for those with modern main dwelling. Internally the Seaforth is functional and efficient. Externally its clean lines, parapet roof, feature corner window and sophisticated feature timber panelling sets it apart from other designs in the market.

The Fairlight is a two bedroom, 60m² architectural design with its highlight windows allowing for an abundance of natural light to fill the living area. Its striking skillion roof extends over a front patio to create the perfect indoor/outdoor room so popular in today’s market. Perfect for most standard-size blocks, the external façade features modern, crisp lines adding a unique elegance to this designer granny flat.

For a long, narrow backyard, our Newington designer granny flat is ideal. Created to make the most of natural light, its highlight windows, contemporary skillion roof and raked ceilings creates a feeling of space much larger than its 60m² size. Unique to this design is the location of the two bedrooms at opposite ends of the granny flat to provide occupants enhanced privacy. A large patio framed by large glass sliding doors created the perfect mix of indoor and outdoor living.
